Yosemite Engagement Photos

When these two aren't home in San Francisco with their two cats or riding their bikes around the city, they love running away to Yosemite. Since Yosemite is such a special place for these two, it was only natural that we had to do their engagement photos there! From the towering granite cliffs, ancient sequoias, cascading waterfalls, and the dreamiest golden light that peaks through the pines... Yosemite National Park is seriously one of the most magical places in all of California!

This was actually my first time in this specific national park and it was one of the most magical experiences. This was an early spring engagement session so the snow had literally melted probably the week before, but it was pretty magical to watch as life was being brought back to the valley floor as we walked through taking in everything. We ended our evening at tunnel view and watched as the sun set over Glacier Point and this time of the day is always my favorite. Blue hour is so quiet and its as though the world is taking a deep breath and decompressing from the business around her.

It has been such a joy to watch these two fall in love over the past years, and it is such an honor to get to document. I cannot wait to capture their intimate wedding day in the redwood forest this fall!
