Palm Springs Engagement Session at Dazey Desert House

This Palm Springs engagement session felt like a retro daydream! There's a certain kind of magic only Palm Springs can offer, and the Dazey Desert House was the perfect was the perfect colorful mid-century modern romantic destination dream come true for Ryan and Jake's engagement session. With bold colors, funky mid-century decor, and golden desert light pouring through every window, it was the perfect backdrop for a couple whose love is anything but ordinary. We started slow and playful indoor with some cuddles, yummy drinks and of course a dance party provided by some of their favorites aka Walk the Moon and Lady Gaga!

As the sun dipped lower over the mountains, we moved outside and it was just as dreamy! From the little cactus oasis to light hitting those San Jacinto mountains justttt right, I felt like I was getting an architectural digest home tour from a trendy celebrity couple!

A Palm Springs photoshoot would just not be complete without a trip to run around in the desert as the last of the light hitting their disco ball felt like little specs of glitter floating around us!

I am literally so excited to capture their wedding day in Downtown San Diego this summer! They've already teased me with telling me it'll be a big colorful sparkly dance party with Drag Queens... it's going to be too much fun getting these two married!
