Agoura Hills Garden Party Wedding

This Agoura Hills wedding at Oak Canyon Ranch felt like the dreamiest garden party under the oaks. It was as though you took the ethereal wildflower magic from Midsommer and mixed it with the playful nostalgia of The Parent Trap. This magical venue was tucked away against the hills of Los Angeles, not far from Malibu and it felt cozy and peaceful. With the sweetest little cabins, it made for the perfect place for all of the bride and grooms favorite humans to stay for the weekend. Family wedding photos were displayed on an old oak tree, which felt like the most heartfelt tribute to the generations of love that came before theirs. With the lush wildflower florals spilling around the reception space, the bright mixed pattern handmade bunting complimenting the twinkly market place lights, and light peaking through the oak branches... this wedding day felt like a love letter to summer. If you're looking for an intimate and relaxed wedding day, this was just that.

Jill and Kai gathered 50 of their favorite people to celebrate their love that started in a Bass Pro Shop (true story). Family and guest came dressed in lots of colors and florals, and big smiles that I never saw leave. Kai sported the perfect light blue suit which looked so good next to Jills classic yet modern wedding dress. And can we talk about Jills veil with wildflower embellishments or the fact that she ditched the veil for the chicest neck scarf for the reception part of the evening.

There was seriously so much joy coming from everyone, and as their photographer, it felt like meeting up with old friends. We laughed, we ate pizza, we shared ice cream sundaes, and we danced the night away in a yurt! The perfect day for the sweetest couple!
