Winter Wedding at Ponte Winery in Temecula

Ponte Winery, Temecula, Ca

January 11, 2020

Tucked away within the hills of Temecula, you'll find the most beautiful winery & wedding venue - Ponte Winery. I was able to kick off my 2020 wedding year with some of my favorite lovers - Collin & Laura. Fortunately, they were able to get married before the world would soon enter a Pandemic, and looking back I'm so happy they were able to have their wedding and my goodness what a party it was!!

I met these two last year at their engagement session. I knew when I met these cuties at their engagement session that they were my kind of people... so kind, so loving, and we clicked so quickly and easily. I left with two new friends that night!

In one cottage you'll find Laura. Anyone could tell Laura was super ready for the day, happy (and nervous) but most importantly she was soaking in every moment. You could tell she has an amazing friend group too who cared so much in helping to make the day so special for her. Her mom and soon-to-be mother-in-law helped her get ready too and I felt like family from the moment I walked in. These were people with so much love in their hearts. In the other cottage, you'll find Collin and his closest guy friends. Collin was more than ready; such a sweet guy that was just waiting to marry his life long gal. All the guys just chilled and laughed all while waiting for the ceremony to begin. When the ceremony started you could tell Collin was more than ready to see his bride!

The ceremony started with the song “Back in Black” by AC/DC for the guys to strut and dance down the aisle to (like HOW FUN IS THAT?!). Next was the bridal party and the music was flipped to a piano cover of Forest Gump’s theme song. It was so magical. The flower girl was next and did amazing on her first gig! Laura chose the song “Then I See You” to play as she walked down the aisle with her dad. The timing was perfect because as Laura turned the corner to come down the aisle the lyrics said “Then I see you...” and Collin lost it. There was not a dry eye in the crowd and you could honestly just feel the love in the air. It was beautiful, raw, and absolutely perfect. Not to mention her dress was absolutely stunning too. The ceremony was short, sweet, and all about them. I loved getting to be a part of it.

They were announced as husband and wife and I swept them away to take some dreamy golden hour pictures. After all the photos, we headed to the reception where they had the biggest dance party!! They kissed (a lot) and drank (a lot) and ultimately just had a TON OF FUN!!!!

So happy for Collin and Laura on their #newbejennings and I'm even happier I get to call these two my friends!! Enjoy this excerpt from the Jenning wedding!
